Miriam and Randy James

For the past 18 years, Miriam and Randy James have spent their time knee - deep in leather, fur and the western way of life. Their passion and dedication to the tannery business has resulted in their own unique style and products. A sampling of their items includes luxurious slippers, custom leather apparel, hand carved chaps, saddlery and an accessory line of briefcases, purses, travel bags.

Miriam is trained and learned in the art of western saddles and tack production. She designs and creates the saddles, tack and other tannery lines. Randy operates the industrial sewing machine and fur machine to produce the slippers and mitts.

A retail space in Tofield was opened to showcase the diverse line of products. Miriam and Randy pride themselves in creating original, quality pieces and showcasing their knowledge of many different tannages and types of leather. The Calgary Stampede is where they go to “shine” and showcase western living and the western way of life they love.
