Sheila Kernan

Painter Sheila Kernan hails from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She has five siblings and her family is full of artistic predecessors. Her grandmother was a painter and seamstress, her father an artistic woodworker and her uncle a photographer. Sheila enrolled at the Alberta College of Art and Design in 2003 and completed her Bachelor of Fine Art.

Through vibrant colours and original technique, Sheila abstractly expresses her love of art in fascinating cityscapes and inviting mountain scenes. Sheila was awarded full membership into the Alberta Society of Artists in 2008 and was the featured artist of the Stampede Rotary Dream Home 2008.

Sheila has traveled all over Canada, Japan, San Francisco and Las Vegas. Her travels have immensely enriched her art.
