JoAnne Meeker

JoAnne Meeker is a fine art photographer, whose photographs represent today’s "Old West." Trained as an artist, she photographs with the eye of a painter. Her unique style and dramatic effect sets her apart from other traditional and commercial photographers.

Meeker has just recently been selected as "Feature Artist" for the 2010 Rodeo Austin in Texas.

Born in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, she grew up in a military family traveling the country. An artist at birth, she began painting at the age of 11. She studied Fine Art at the University of Kansas, The Kansas City Art Institute, and the Art Institute of Southern California.

Her fascination with horses and a lifelong desire to live in the country was finally realized seven years ago. She now resides on a small ranch in Riverside, California with her four horses.

JoAnne has won critical acclaim for her passionate representation of today's western lifestyle.
