Jonathan Havelock

Jonathan Havelock’s photography focuses on colorful scenes that are part of the “everyday” in Alberta – from threatening storm clouds over a canola field – or early morning in the country – to an Edmonton or Calgary skyline as the sun sets in the background.

Jon works exclusively with digital imaging to create photographs that reflect the essence of the subject.  By using various filters, layers and textures, landscapes and scenes are captured with sensitivity, realism and respect.

His first series, Ocean Reflections, comprised a study of fishing villages, vessels and structures in the Maritimes and West Coast.  His current series is the culmination of travels through Alberta and British Columbia.

Jon currently lives in Edmonton.
