Michelle Grant
Michelle Grant's western paintings are being featured on the set of CBC’s popular “Heartland” television series.
A native Calgarian, Michelle’s art is intricately connected to the spirit, economy, and beauty of the horse in Alberta, yet her excellence in art has been internationally recognized. This passion for art and horses shows through her artistic works in a variety of mediums, which has resulted in many awards for her pencil drawings, watercolors, and oils.
Her work has been published in many books, magazines and calendars. Michelle’s artwork is not limited to work on canvas or paper, but is also seen on coins issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, including the 2005 Alberta Centennial 25 cent coin and 2002 Calgary Stampede 50-cent collector coin.
