Lee Hillman

Lee Hillman is an Anishnabe (Ojibway) from the Lake Huron region and has resided in Calgary since the 1970s. Lee has been a local artist for over 15 years and has recently resumed painting after what she refers to as “a 35 year hiatus.” Lee is incorporating traditional skills (such as porcupine quill work) into some of her paintings and is planning a series of such works. Her paintings reflect her attachment to the land and her tradition.
