Michael Priaro

Born in Italy, Michael emigrated to Canada in 1956.  He attended the Ontario College of Art and then university, graduating as a chemical engineer.  He worked as an oil and gas engineer and manager in Calgary for over 25 years.  At age 53, Michael rekindled a passion for art and has painted fulltime for the last two years, celebrating the awe-inspiring beauty of the Rockies.  He is represented by the Avens Gallery in Canmore, Alberta.
