Rocky Barstad

Born in 1952 in Morley, Alberta Rocky draws on his heritage for inspiration. Through the Scottsdale Arizona Artist School he has studied, traveled and become friends with many world-class artists, and enjoys sharing this knowledge by teaching. He works in a variety of mediums—oil and pastel painting, bronze sculpture and murals. Rocky opened Two Feathers Gallery in High River, Alberta in 1996 where he showcases art from across Canada and the U.S.
