As an artist her main concern is to paint Southern  Alberta  and West Coast landscapes with her palette of acrylic colour. She chooses scenes that resonate both emotionally and spiritually. With each large canvas, time stands still for her, as she delights in creating intense colour combined with the subtleties of light and shadow. In turn, her paintings evolve beyond the mere reality of what the naked eye perceives.
