Debbie Metzler  

Debbie has exhibited figurative and nature art for over 30 years since graduating from the University of Calgary as an artist and art educator. Her narrative work on cowboy archetypes is influenced by the cinematic aspects of heroes and villains which intrigued her as a child. Debbie’s work explores the character of hard working, tired, horses, dogs, and everyday animals rather than depicting prize show animals.
