Western Photo "Competition" Returning in 2009
 Gallery
Western Showcase is excited to present the 2008 edition of the Western Photo Gallery. Western Photo Gallery provides an opportunity for photographers to share their work as they document the rich history of Alberta, our Canadian Rockies and the Calgary Stampede. The images we so proudly display have been juried by photographic professionals, with our final selection based on image quality, technical quality, image interest and impact. We hope you will consider including one of these images in your art collection.
This year, we have invited a select group of photographers to showcase the best of Western photography in the inaugural "By Invitation" section. These photographers have presented our most popular images in prior years, and we are excited to have them back in 2008. Western Photo Gallery is also continually looking for new photographers to join our gallery. Submissions can be made through our on-line entry form.
Speakers
We also hope you will join us on the Window on the West stage in Hall D as we present a selection of our guest speakers. Our speakers will provide you with a wealth of photographic knowledge, and can be seen on July 10 th @ 4:30 PM, and July 13th @12:30 PM.
Competition
The Western Photo Competition will be on hiatus for this year, and we hope you will join us for the Competition's return in '09!
