2011 GRADE 12 WESTERN ART SCHOLARSHIP

Created to encourage students completing Grade 12 to consider post secondary education in the field of their choice. Three scholarships are awarded to students attending High Schools within the city of Calgary and three students attending high schools in Rural Alberta.

2011 entries were juried by a panel of renowned artists:
Michelle Grant, Bob Byrne, Marvin Axani , Doug Swinton ,a former scholarship recipient and artist Ryan Axani .

Thank you to Doug Swinton for welcoming the students to his studio and for his support of emerging artists.
