Western Showcase Volunteers
Would you like to volunteer with the Calgary Stampede Western Showcase Committee?
Western Showcase is the second largest volunteer committee on Stampede Park with close to 200 members and we are always interested in having new ideas and volunteers.
Our home base is Halls D & E of the BMO Center where we are joined by the Wine Garden and the Oasis to become Western Oasis during Stampede.
We are a year-round committee with monthly meetings and each member has duties to perform during the year as well as during Stampede time. Our sub- committees encompass all areas of the ‘arts’ and include Western Art Auction, Artists’ Studios, Western Art Gallery, Western Photo Galley, Artists’ Ranch Project, Kitchen Theatre, Creative Arts and Crafts, Window on the West and before, after and during Stampede, Construction, Design and Decorating, and Operations.
We all enjoy being part of Western Showcase and the Calgary Stampede and having fun is just part of what we do.

Give us a try during Stampede as an Event Volunteer!
Sign up for 3 shifts in the area or area’s that interest you. Please fill out either this Printable (PDF) Form OR this Word Document and e-mail it to volunteer@westernshowcase.com. Training in the area’s you have chosen will be provided before Stampede. The shifts are 3 hours long and you may choose which shift times suit you best.
As an event volunteer you will discover if being a Western Showcase full time volunteer is the right choice for you. You will receive two gate passes for each day worked, a Showcase Stir’up invitation for you and a guest, an Art Show Pin and an Appreciation Certificate. Having fun at Stampede will take on a whole new meaning for you. All applicants must be 18 years of age.
