LORI KOLE
With a soft, sultry voice, and a big stage presence, Lori Kole is setting the country music
ablaze in Alberta, Canada. She has recently shared the stage with the likes of Johnny Reid,
Charlie Major, Corb Lund and Neil McCoy. This sudden new Alberta heat has had a long, slow burn. Growing up on the family beef cattle
ranch in rural northern Manitoba, music has always been a part of Lori's heart and soul. From the age of five, Lori could be heard belting out her performance of Dolly Parton's " 9
to 5", where she made her own stage at the top of the farm gravel pile. Using her sister's
record player Lori sang along to everything from Tanya tucker, to Stevie Nicks, to Reba and
Tammy Wynette . And so began the dream of being a country music recording artist. After finishing high school, Lori began entering singing competitions. Her smoky, riveting of Patsy Cline's "Walking After Midnight" earned her the title of Palomino QX104 Vocalist of
The Year at the World Famous Palomino Nightclub in Winnipeg, Canada. Her performance
qualities were quickly noticed in the music industry. Offers to perform on television and on the local country music circuit immediately followed.
