Window On The West Performers

PATTI-JOHNSTON MARTIN

Patti is an accomplished singer who has performed with numerous country, blues, rock’n’roll, bluegrass and big band groups. She is a former member of our own Stampede “Royal Trio” and has traveled throughout the world both speaking and singing.  For more than 30 years, she has continued to give back to the Stampede organization by volunteering with the Stampede Queens’ Alumni and other volunteer committees, as needed. Patti toured in Europe performing in England, Germany and Holland. As a youth, she sang weekly for 9 consecutive years on a local television program, The Calgary Safety Roundup.  She played as a solo in most of the Calgary hotel and club venues and still enjoys the stage!

Currently, she is retired from the post secondary adult education system and continues to travel Canada and the world through her company, Banshee Consulting. She most recently, January of this year,  worked in Madagascar and took time to visit the lemurs!
